2SL desgined and managed the total renovation/reconstruction of our Montessori school, which was relocated from a leased space less than one mile away. Principals at 2SL met with owners (one who also runs the school) to take into consideration all of the aspects we wanted in our school as it related to the Montessori philosophy, connection to the environment, rules and regulations required to operate a childcare center in Raleigh, NC, and general aspects of creating a nurturing early childhood educational setting. We couldn't have been more pleased with the quality of the design, the quality of the craftsmanship, and especially with the team approach that was necessary to see this project through to completion. We faced many, many hurdles and together (and especially with the engaged principals of 2SL) we overcame all of the obstacles and opened on time. 2SL worked closely with us to stay within our budget and the only overruns were either change orders requested by us OR by changes that were required by the city that had been unanticipated.
